Special Issues (2024)

Special Issues of the 14th EASN Conference

Further to the Conference Proceedings which will include all presented papers, a number of selected papers will be published in international journals following peer review.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Prospective authors will be required to warrant that the work is original and submitted for first publication in the respective scientific journal. All submitted manuscripts will be checked to avoid claims of plagiarism. In this context, overlaps with already published works, including the full-length papers for the EASN Conference proceedings, should typically not exceed 25%. The accurate percentage of acceptable overlap is set by the respective journals.

2. Aeronautical Journal Special Collection of the 14th EASN Conference

Aerojournal

The Aeronautical Journal will be publishing selected research papers from the 14th EASN Conference in a Special Collection. This will be separate but complimentary to the regular proceedings from the conference.

Some of the most notable papers from the 14th EASN conference will be selected by organizers for publication. After this, submission of each paper will be carried out by the author to the Cambridge University Press article submission website. Assessment of papers will be carried out by peer review via the Associate Editors of The Aeronautical Journal. Papers approved for publication will then be published in an online collection within the Aeronautical Journal website hosted on the Cambridge University Press’ Cambridge Core platform.

The Aeronautical Journal
The Aeronautical Journal has, for 127 years, been the UK's leading scientific and technical aeronautics Journal. It is the world’s oldest aviation publication currently in publication. Published monthly, The Aeronautical Journal provides a forum for authors from the UK and overseas, academia, research establishments and industry, and acts as a platform for presenting work and research to an international audience. Each paper has been thoroughly refereed by an international team of Associate Editors, all of whom are world renowned experts in their field, and their chosen reviewers.

Established in 1897, the Journal publishes full-length papers and survey articles that will be of lasting interest to the global aerospace industry. The Aeronautical Journal aims to publish papers which make significant contributions to every aspect of aerospace.  It also seeks to make valuable contributions to our understanding of key areas of research and their application in the field of aerospace and closely related areas, encompassing all forms of flight vehicles.

Drawing upon the traditions, experience and expertise of its publisher, the Royal Aeronautical Society, the Aeronautical Journal now includes even more papers and addresses a broader range of topics than ever before.
