The Conference Venue

Thessaloniki Concert Hall was built along the coast of the city and consists of 2 separate buildings (M1 & M2). It was funded to provide a solution for the city’s need of a place to hold all artistic events as well as a variety of other activities for the citizens. Since the date it was founded, in 2000, it has held numerous successful concerts, theater and opera productions, major event opening ceremonies and international conferences.

The 14th EASN International Conference will be held in building M2 of the Concert Hall. Designed by the renowned architect Arata Isozaki, M2 (Building 2) adorns the city with a unique construction that epitomizes the virtues of modern architecture. Geometrical lines, extended glass surfaces and elements of steel compose an image of imposing simplicity, that comes as an antithetic, yet equivalent complement to the neighboring M1.

How to reach the venue

By BUS
From the Airport
You can easily reach the Thessaloniki Concert Hall (TCH) from Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia in approximately 30 minutes by using the shuttle 01X (during the day) and 01N (during the night), which departs every 20-25 minutes from the airport. The bus stop is located at the departures area, in front of entrance 3 of T1. You should get off the bus at the 6th stop (MEGARO MOUSIKIS – 25 MARTIOU). From the city center
To reach the Thessaloniki Concert Hall (TCH) from the city center you should use the shuttle 03K. There are plenty of stops between Aristotle Square (PLATIA ARISTOTELOUS) and the TCH (25 MARTIOU stop | view the local map here). Timetables, ticket points and further information can be found here. 

By TAXI
ΤAXI service is available at the airport. The transfer to Thessaloniki Concert Hall (TCH) would take approximately 15 minutes, and the fare should be between 24 to 32 euro depending on the hour of travel and traffic. TAXI stand is located at the arrivals area between T1 and T2 (between exit 3 and 4). However, you can pre-book your transfer from any point of the city with a taxi here.
